0.25% of the total rent for the term plus 10% of the refundable deposit for each year, rounded up to the next ₹100. Registration fee is ₹1,000 in urban areas.
How long does a registered rent agreement take?
Usually 2–4 working days after biometric verification.

A registered agreement is renewed by registering a fresh agreement for the new term, which we do the same way online.
Buying, selling and transferring property
What is the stamp duty on a sale deed in Pune?
About 7% within PMC limits including metro cess and LBT (6% for women buyers), and about 5–7% in PCMC and other areas, plus 1% registration fee capped at ₹30,000.
